The GE IC693TCM302B is a Series 90-30 Temperature Control Module (TCM). It provides temperature control for up to eight independent zones. This module can operate in either open-loop or closed-loop mode, offering flexibility for various temperature control applications. Each of the eight channels features a thermocouple input and a relay output. Additionally, it supports RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) inputs. The module has a 12V common-mode voltage capability and offers open and reverse thermocouple detection and reporting, as well as out-of-tolerance temperature detection and reporting.
The IC693TCM302B is designed to interface with the Series 90-30 PLC system, allowing for the integration of temperature control logic with the overall control strategy. It features LED indicators for each zone to display thermocouple status and provide feedback on open-circuit and reverse polarity faults. The module also includes a replaceable 2 Amp user fuse located on the circuit board behind the front bezel for overcurrent protection.
