The AI820 provides 4 differential input channels. Unlike single-ended modules, its differential design offers superior noise immunity and higher precision, making it ideal for measuring small signals in environments with significant electromagnetic interference.

The module performs A/D conversion with high resolution and transmits the digitized values to the controller via the ModuleBus.
