The 140-V2-ENT module is a dedicated hardware interface that enables ControlWave controllers to communicate over standard TCP/IP Ethernet networks. While some ControlWave CPUs have built-in Ethernet, the 140-V2-ENT is used either as an expansion to add a second independent network or to upgrade older CPU configurations that lack native networking.
